This Angelfish sculpture was created for my thesis show at Hampshire College. It was made to represent an important person in my life.

Someone meticulous, wanting everything to be precise and perfect. The repetition of the visible scales, beautiful colors and its kind face drew me to this fish. The scales were quite the time consuming challenge but ultimately it is what made this sculpture work. 

This metal saltwater angelfish is wall hanging, handmade entirely out of stainless steel, colored using only heat patinas and is safe to be kept outdoors!
