A friend who I have known since 3rd grade asked me to create a sign as a wedding gift for his wife to welcome people to their farm.

It was such an honor to be tasked with such a meaningful gift. We chatted a bit about ideas and settled on a horse with lettering surrounding. I decided to go with a two dimensional approach on this sculpture. This was a fun challenge because I had to draw everything using a small pencil grinder. I had to grind everything and then color it blue (the hottest color) then grind everything away except what I wanted to remain blue and then colored it purple (2nd hottest color). I repeated this process through the heat color spectrum until grinding the final silver details! I am quite happy with the final result and look forward to making more of these two dimensional "sculptures".
