I have always been drawn to butterflies. They are ornate, intricate, detailed and delicate little creatures that flit in and out of my life creating awe and offering me with the opportunity to pause and be grateful for the beauty that surrounds me.

Lacewing butterflies have always mesmerized me. I find the detailed markings around the edges of their wings exquisite. The blue heat patina is always so strikingly beautiful that i decided design one with a blue color scheme. I feel like the blue works really well with the silver highlights and the overlapping purple body and colored antenna tips tie the whole piece together well!

This handmade metal butterfly sculpture is wall hanging, made entirely of stainless steel, colored using only heat patinas and is completely safe to be kept outdoors!
